Ok I've read the other topics on the musashi chip and some reviews at pbreview.com. I understand it adds the capped semi mode and nppl/psp mode but other then that I don't get what it does. Everyone is talking about how fast it is but doesn't the default chip have the same uncapped semi? What makes it so much faster than the default chip?

honestly, it's not really worth it aside from bragging rights. I'd go with Advantage Virtue Chip. It has so many different modes of fire! That chip is awesome for a pretty good price too.

i disagree with edge, but to each his own, i love my musashi board in my gun, and it has nxl/psp settings not nppl

Yea I just came back from the shop I go to (with new 05 ATC's woot) and the guy there said its just the circuitry that is better (other than the added features) so it allows it perform a bit faster. Makes sense, Tadao specializes in chips, dye doesn't. Not saying the DM4/5 chip is bad.

Sure the Musashi is an awesome chip, It's just a better deal for the Virtue in my opinion.

Yea if you are going to use all the features. The problem is alot of the features are normally illegal in most places (tourney and field) so some of them are just for fun or cheaters IMO.

Paintball guns aren't just for paintballing ya know. you CAN have fun with them. And there's actually a few fields by me plus my backyard field that will allow most settings(aside from full auto on first pull)

in my opinion i like the musashi board it has your basic fun modes allows debounce. ramp all that good stuff no to be roude but what does the board that edge is talking about have that musashi doesnt just curious
