First: READ YOUR MANUAL!!!!!!!! There is alot of stuff that can be answered in the manual that we will tell you anyways.

Second: Change your battery. I know that the DM4 comes with a battery but if you put a brand new battery in your gun then there is no chance of the battery being dead shipped to you.

Third: Before you air up your gun adjust your dip switches. Most peoples dip switches are set at (from left to right) Up, Down, Down, Down

Fourth: Before airing up your gun check your on/off. Sometimes the O-rings are not lubed or may stick. If this is the case take off your trigger frame and your Hyper 2 regulator. Then unscrew the set screw in front of the foremost trigger frame screw and wiggle ur on/off out. Change any damaged o-rings and lube all three of them. Put the on/off back in, screw the set screw back in, and place the trigger frame back on the gun.

Fifth: Still, before airing up your gun, uncrew the bolt cap and check the bolt to see if they are all properly lubricated. Lube any o-ring that may need it and replace the bolt.

Sixth: Now, air up your gun, be sure that your screws do not interfere with the board, and make small adjustment to your LPR. Most guns run fine between 4 and 5 turns with Dye lube.

Seventh: Make some adjustment to your trigger if wanted. The front screw will adjust the forward travel to the activation point (the distance from the resting position to the activation point), screw this in to shorten the pull. The back screw will adjust the after travel (the distance from the activation point to where the trigger stops moving towards the grip).

Eigth: Add a hopper and some paint and go waste all the people at you local feild
