im not really sure if this is a problem but im pretty sure im getting drop off when i walk the trigger or shoot fast, my friend said it was the fact that they dont lube the regs when there new so u have to do it, is that true. Also its being a mad gas hog i got about 800 shots with a 90/4500. these problems could be that im shooting hot but i dont have a chrono available at the time so ill have to wait until this weekend to see if thats the problem. i also cant get the bolt cylinder off the bolt. any suggestions

here are the pictures i promised, no vid thou

Set your LPR and dwell back to stock (5 turns for the LPR, im not sure on the dwell), that could be why you are getting dropoff, if either is too low. Also relube your bolt if you havent. Dont glob lube on the bolt, only give a relatively good coating on orings and any moving parts. The regs are lubed, dont need to worry about them. If you think that might be causing the problem you can check them for dirt/contamination etc.

DM4s like all spool valve guns are gas hogs. Best way to raise your shot count is lowering the dwell and LPR (which might be causing ur drop off ha ha). To do this you can try using a different lube on the bolt such as slick honey (Bike lubricant) or the like. Or you can invest in an orange or evolve bolt. Both will help you lower your LPR and dwell slightly, allowing you to get some more shots.

i don't know what your smoking but my matrix and my dm4 are far from gas hogs, they are excelent with air, i can get 8+ pods and a hopper off of my matrix, haven't ad my dm4 long enough to know what i can get off of it.

DM's are gas hogs...they are. I own a DM5 and i only can get like 4 pods out of mine on a 70 45. Just do some work on it. Lubing your bolt is key.

Ya DM4 are gas hogs until you do some minor mods to your bolt and LPR and you can get many more shots.
