imo the only bad thing is that with the proto you can't just swap chips out like you can with the dm4/5. as far as comparison i was only comparing the proto w/ the dm4.

But alot of options are taken out of the proto which has a lot to do with the price and all the other specs. But a lot of people want to have those options and want to have quality so they go for the dm4 or dm5
