i think it depends on how well you know the girl you want to ask out. most of the cheesy lines (like those above) wont work too well unless she knows you really well and knows that your playin around. if some random dude, no matter how good looking, came up to me with a cheap pickup line i think i would prolly smile real big, laugh and then politly shake my head no. try something a little more serious like "i really wanna go but i only wanna go with you" or something that shows that she is the only one your interested in taking. well... then again it depends also on how serious you plan on this date being. is it just a date for the dance?? or something more? In most situations lines don't do much for you other then maybe get a smile. (and she will tell ALL her friends about the line you gave her) . just straight asking is the best. its the most flattering thing in the world just to be asked and know that they were thinkin about you.

I did wat meow chick said and just asked her lol. My natural charm kicked in from there. Well dance is at 7 so i'll be gone all tonite....wich i was one year older and i coud've picked up the girl by myself but o well...
