This is a thread directed to the all of the new Intimidator owners wondering what upgrades they should buy. So I have compiled a short list of what upgrades that are worthy of dropping in your timmy and will save you in the long run.

Hybrid AP Adj. Bumperless Ram Cap:One of the most important upgrades is an adjustable ram cap. Your bolt should be roughly 1/16 of an inch in the breech when aired up. This is so that when your loader is feeding balls they do not have room to slide past the eyes creating a chopping problem and also slowing your marker down. The adjustable ram cap will solve these problems. This will save you the hassel of replacing your ram bumpers and ordering new ones every few months. "The new AP KNOB consists of an external valve, which helps release air to make the intimidator more efficient. Air is channeled through special ports to alleviate axcess air and redirect it for better ram efficiency."
There are other ram caps out there this is just one that I prefer.

High Flow Barb Kit:
I have found that these do help out with efficiency and also lower your operating pressure. If you have the $$ why not?
"The new intimidator low pressure barb kit from HYBRID offers you to lower the solenoid operating pressure, lowering the risk of damaging your solenoid, reducing the markers recoil, and giving about 10-20% more shots per fill."

Harder detents:
These would only be necessary if you are useing a forcefeed-type loader such as a Halo B. The stock detents usually create a ball-breaking problem due to the force of the loader pushing the balls past the detents.

KAPP Delrin Thumper Ram:
Many people have said that this will reduce recoil and give you better efficiency but I am still a skeptic of it. Yes, it will reduce recoil but not enough to make a huge difference. The reason I say this is... What is connected to the ram? Yes, you guessed right! The bolt weighing more then the ram. You get the picture. So if you have the $$ why not get it?

VP Pistons
Another "Personal Preference" item. In my opinion they don't make a huge difference but from what I hear they aren't a bad upgrade. "ViolentProducts Torpedo piston is for all torpedo style high pressure regulators. It also replaces the stock piston in the low pressure regulator on all 2K2 style Intimidators. This includes the LPR on Empire Intimidators.
In stock regulators the aluminum piston rubs against the aluminum housing wall causing wear, inconsistent pressure output and slower re-charge. Our Delrin Piston fixes these problems, requires less maintenance and adds life to your regulator.

Here is where it's entirely my opinion.

Boards:
WAS,
Frenzy,
Entropy.
(Not necessisarily in that order.)
Basically any board but the S.O.B.

Barrels:
The stock barrel is perfectly fine. The only reason you should purchase a new barrel/kit is if you shoot different kinds of paint that vary in diameter. My oppinion is that almost any kit/barrel out there is basically the same quality.

Triggers:
CP Triggers: (What I use)
Critical Trigger: (Friends uses one, no side to side play. Feels smooth and snappy.)
Techna Triggers: (The trigger that I wish I own :P In other words if you would like to pay the $70.00 then I suggest you go purchase one now...)
FBM Trigger:
To be honest I haven't heard one review on these so if you have some input PM me, Thanks.

Bolts:
Yes a lighter bolt will reduce kick. If you are going to purchase a Kapp ram your best bet is to also get a lighter bolt. Another thing to keep in mind is making sure the bolt has slots for your detents. Bolts that lack detent slots basically detroy hard detents and definately wear down stock detents.
Stock bolt,
VP Bolt,
Orange Bolt: I held one at cup, or should I say one hovered over my hand... Anyways these bolts are amazingly light but from some of the reviews I have come across I believe you should shy away from them atleast untill a newer more "refined" version comes out to the public.

More will be added...

Instead of starting a new thread I thought this was the appropriate place for this:

Tadao 2004 Intimidator Board

This is directly from FlipFlops himself (Will):

I'm *hoping* for an early February release. No promises. The software will include unlimited semi auto, capped semi auto, and capped modified NXL/PSP. The cap is adjustable from 14 to 20 bps in 1/4 bps increments. This will ensure you can play in any of the major tournament series for 2005.

Estimated retail price for the board is going to be around $140

Here are some pics of the board (direct from Will's marker):

This 2k4 board is designed to work in an Alias style grip frame, while seperate 2k2 boards will be coming out for all the older clamshell frames (possible release in March)

Modes include:

In mode 1 (normal semi with debounce and amb), unlimited.

In mode 2 (capped semi with debounce and amb), maxes out at whatever you set the cap to.

In mode 3 (modified nxl/psp), maxes out at whatever you set the cap to. Debounce and amb disabled since it's 1-2-3 semi, then it's basically full auto as long as you pull the trigger 5 times per second.

Comes with a lifetime limited warrenty as well as free software upgrades at all events.

Board comes stock with a replacement 25g switch (stock frenzy is 85g)

Also includes adjustable debounce, dwell, loader delay (bip), eye mode, mbounce, fire mode, fire mode max rof, as well as a self adjusting bolt delay

Keep your eyes peeled for this beauty to come out sometime in February.

NO PREORDERS!!!!!

Stock does not have ramp I believe and you can get bounce depending on how you set up your trigger.
