so the membrane comes out and i think i put it in. well the gun will only turn on. it wont turn off or none of the buttons work

If this is with an Alias, you can try this, seems to work for some people:

Take the membrane pad and cut the connector end (the black section that goes into the frenzy board) about 1/10 of an inch and plugged it back into the board. The pad should start to work perfectly.

If you do want to try this instead of ordering a new one PLEASE be careful. This is a suggestion that many have said worked for them.

ok well i did that the membrane is in, but now i have to move the ribbon around a certain way to get it on and then it says low battery (even though i put new one in) and the buttons dont work again. if this doesnt work then should i buy a new membrane or send it into blast.

Is the gun in Comp mode? Check to see if it is, sometimes crazy stuff like that happens.

I would get a new pad first before sending it in to blast. If it comes down to it and u need to send it in I think they will replace the board for free if it is indeed broken.

Your membrane pad may be plugged in the opposite way. Or it may just be out right busted.
