i recently bought an "armson paintball" rifled barrel. it cost alot of money in my mind (85 dollars) i own a Kingman SPyder compact deluxe. it is about 2 yearsold.

my problem is tht unless i use the expensive tournament balls, nearly every single shot brakes. this makes it impossible to play. however if i put the stock barrel back on then the "cheap" practice balls work. also i put the barrel on my buddies gun and the practice balls were ok >=(

if you can help me out then trya nd answer these questions

1. what do you think the problem is?
2. is ther an upgrade i can buy to help this problem?
3. what barrel would work best on my gun?

1. your bore size might be too small call armson and ask them what the boresize of your barrel is.
2. no there isnt an upgrade that would fix it if the boresize is too small
3. i personally use either a freak or an ultralite. barrels are mostly personal oppinion. rifle barrels are terrible for paintballs though Tom Kaye has proved this there designed for guns and thats it. do some research and go to your local field and test them out and see which one you like best

J&J just released a nice 2 peice barrel kit that you can get for around $77 dollars if you shop around for that price. I can't remember where i seen it, but it was online somewhere. It would be a nice upgrade and would guarantee to work with all paintballs. (changable backs) Can't go wrong with the price.

1.Squeegee
2.Not really
3.J&J ceramic for J&J ceramic barrel http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/251
or the J&J S2 ceramic barrel(I have so don't be afraid to ask about) http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/3765/

Both self clean so if a ball breaks in the barrel it will clean it self out. Good price to.
