For $50 your not going to be able to get a compressed air tank. Good compressed air tanks (68cu/3000psi) start at around $100. Downside there is that they will more than likely be steel tanks (heavy as all hell).

If you aren't looking for compressed air you can get good CO2 tanks from anywhere around $15-$30 depending on what size tank you want. 20oz will cost more obviously (~$20-25) and any brand is good, but make sure you get anti-siphon.

Anti-siphon tanks use a particular valve that prevents liquid CO2 from entering the marker. When compressed into a tank CO2 is in the liquid form, which is why the bottle is cold when it is filled or when you fire your marker for a long period of time. When you shoot your marker the liquid expands into a gas....however CO2 in the liquid form can sometimes not have enough time to expand. Getting this liquid into your marker's internal workings is a big no no, which is why I suggest anti-siphon.

just go all the way w/ nitro its easier and a much better investment. anti-siphons still leak a little bit of water into the gun, so i would just go all the way and get nitro, unless u already got a anti-siphon of course

I would just go with compressed air tank. Because Compressed air is better for your gun and Co2 can freeze in winter play so if you are going to go with Compressed air I recommend a Crossfire tank. Probably a 68/3000. It's $139. Great for compressed air.
