It's better to use an LP tank on the newer angels because thats what they were designed for, and thats what also the regswere designed for, the regs are bad at converting HP into that low of an operating pressure. So more pressure is being input into the gun than wanted, thusly wearing out parts and having a lot of inconsistancy's. It's ok to use an HP tank for a while, but if the gun is new then it wont break it well.
