That's pretty much spot on Tony. If you suck...you suck. If you suck in a
VW you most indeed will suck in a Ferrari, or anything else. But if you
are GOOD in that VW (you may be outgunned performance wise by all the
Ferrari drivers), then you will be a much more effective (read competitive)
driver in a Ferrari.

There is a difference in being a player that just plain old sucks, and being
a player who is just not competitive because they are at such a
technological disadvantage.

Send me into the woods with Ol' Painless up against Rambo armed with a soup
