J&J Edge kit (I got 4 bores with mine, .685, .688, .691, .693)
Paintball Experience-5 years
Similar Products Used-never a kit before but stock ion, a5, and spyder barrels, progressive, flatline and a few others
Marker setup-SP blue ION w/ J&JEdge 6 pc Kit,ASP QEV qlock,DOP bullet drop 68/45 warped sports HPA
Strengths-very accurate when sized right, quiet, looks, price
Weaknesses- hard to finding in stock at places, mayby too much porting if that causes any decrease in efficiency i dont know for sure.
-The Actual Review-
I have used this barrel so far with xball bronze and origin paint. the xball fit nice in the .688 back and the origin was good in the .685 back. I like the 14inch front better than the 8 inch front because i like pushing the airball bunker a little bit. very accurate barrel with a consistant reg and set up. if the paint is too big for the bore i noticed a drastic velocity drop and some even get stuck int he barrel. i had no breaks but have heard it self cleans fairly well. well i broke a ball on purpose inside the back and shot a few after that. it doesnt self clean as good as i thought it would but the accuracy was noticibly effected. I must say that the blue front and black back compliment my ons colors really well also. Seems like a durable barel and can take some abuse sliding barrel first intot the bunker and ground but i wouldnt reccomend field testing this yourself.
Conclution
worth the $128 including shipping i paid for the 4 backs, 2 fronts and the nifty case that came with it. i am very satisfied.
i give the whole kit a 9/10 because its not perfect but close to it and havent tried other barrel kits but there is a slim margin where the performance can be increased. well worth it.
