Tony Perez (VP of System X and Avalanche player) has recently drawn Avalanche away from their sponsorship with Empire over to System X, for get this, an unbelievable $250K deal to sport System X gear.

Recently Avalanche was seen down in San Diego shooting System X's new NME marker, an Intimidator like marker:



Regarding the fact that some may be shooting this marker (hence a conflict with Ed Poorman - owner of Warped Sportz) remember that Avalanche is allowed to shoot whatever markers they wish in a tournament.

I think that with this new opportunity for System X we will most likely see the release of a new line of apparel and gear from them, in order to take full advantage of this situation.
